Entering its third year of business, the Comlek group has various new and exciting projects on the horizon.
About to relocate to new premises at Mackay Harbour, the company will make use of, and benefit from the 6000 square metres of land as it undergoes unprecedented and solid growth.
Not only servicing the mining industry, Comlek caters to the water, waste and petrochemical industries.
Having attracted major attention with its new manufacturing division, the company is able to deliver quality products including switchboards, control centres, conveyor starters, fan starters and pump starters on time and within budget.
Comlek has gone one step further and is now also an Accredited Switchboard Builder for the NHB CUBIC Switchboard range.
The Comlek training division is also able to benefit from relocating to larger premises as it provides electrical engineer managers, electrical equipment for hazardous areas and low voltage switchboard rescue training courses, and is currently working on other industry training courses in conjunction with Registered Training Organisation Moxi.
This year has seen the Comlek Group extend its capabilities in safety management all the way to China under the guidance of the Australian and Chinese Governments, having been deployed for a major project by Simtars.
The company is now, more than ever, committed to fostering long-term client relationships and providing the highest quality standard of electrical, engineering and manufacturing turnkey projects in Australia and the international arena.
Simtars has been appointed by the Commonwealth to manage the joint Australia-China project at the Xuandong coal mine, 150km from Beijing.
The mine will showcase Australian mine safety technology, training and education in risk management; and adopt leading practices and technologies to minimise mine injuries and fatalities.
The lessons learned at Xuandong will set new standards for mine safety at other coal mines in China and around the world.
COMLEK has been successful in offering Stored Energy Isolate Procedures for Xuandong mine to assist in the joint venture project.
